This colourful collage diptych was commissioned by a lawyer. Her only request was that the image be playful and would unmistakably be about her profession. She told me her clients often came to her in a very chaotic and dark time in their lives, and she was happy to be able to shed light on their situation. That’s how the idea of photographic negatives and positive prints became the inspiration for the work. The collage technique allowed me to use the negative shapes created when cutting to enhance the effect of reversed imagery.
